Consulting Services

Wonderware Midwest employs Wonderware-Certified Technical Services Engineers (TSEs) to support, troubleshoot, test, and train on the use of Wonderware's FactorySuite 2000/A2 software components (a set of software productivity tools providing decision support to manufacturing and process operations). The daily use of these products provides our TSEs with a unique skill set that you can leverage to enhance the performance of your FactorySuite 2000/A2 installation.

The Wonderware Midwest Consulting Services Program is a fee-based service that makes TSEs available to you for on-demand, limited engagement assistance with your deployment of FactorySuite 2000/A2.

Supported Activities / WonderCareTM Offerings

  • On-Site Checkup
    WonderCare On-Site Check-Up provides a structured review of your Wonderware-based system, the physical layout of your Wonderware-related hardware, and a summary of the goals of the automation system. System diagnostic logs will be evaluated, system configuration settings checked, and overall system performance will be monitored. Finally, recommendations will be made for system improvements and enhancements based on proven Wonderware best-practices from our many years of supporting Wonderware products
  • Consulting Services
    Our TSEs can assist you in troubleshooting or repairing a deployment of a FactorySuite component, and can also aid in assessing all considerations regarding the sizing, installation, and configuration of your software. These services are not offered as a substitute for the traditional project and integration work done by SIs, but rather as a means to secure specialized, responsive assistance when you need help with a small scale, short term FactorySuite-related task.
  • Customized Training
    We offer a number of standard course curriculums for learning to configure and deploy FactorySuite components. These courses are regularly available in both our Brookfield, WI and Minnetonka, MN training centers. If after attending one of our training courses, additional modules or focused attention is required for a specific component, our TSEs can provide a more detailed, hands-on learning environment which delivers the desired focus. Due to the customized nature of these sessions, detailed course materials and documentation are generally not included as part of this focused training.
  • Proof-Of-Concept, Prototyping and How To's
    Our TSEs can assist you in testing of the product, or correctly implementing a specific feature with actual data or interface, prior or subsequent to purchase. Although this type of assistance is typically provided at no charge as a normal function of technical support, the level of complexity and time required for certain tasks will require an additional fee to complete.

Arranging for Services

Wonderware Midwest's Technical Services Engineers (TSEs) are generally available to begin scheduled engagements within a few days of notification. Requests for immediate service will be entertained, but are strictly subject to availability of the TSEs.

Three Easy Steps

  • Define Your Objectives:
    Contact your Wonderware Midwest Account Executive or a TSE to initiate discussions regarding the desired objective, and possible duration of the services to be provided. The goal here is to become comfortable with the TSE's knowledge and understanding of your needs by clearly defining all of the elements that will affect preparations for providing the services. Work with the TSE to select a number of possible dates and times that are both convenient for you, and open for the TSE. Agree on those dates and times.
  • Confirming Email or Fax:
    Your service is CONFIRMED only after you have received written (email/fax) confirmation from a Wonderware Midwest Customer Service Administrator. Included will be Rates/Terms and Conditions Acknowledgment which must be signed one-time or previously on file with Wonderware Midwest.
  • Submit a Purchase Order:
    Place a purchase order with Wonderware Midwest referencing our letter of confirmation. Include the phone and email address of the contact with primary responsibility for the services, as well as directions to the facility at which the services are to be provided.

Upon Completion

Within 30 days of completion of the contracted services, Wonderware Midwest will send you an invoice that includes a detailed description of all services, hours, and miscellaneous expenses, as well as a copy of the original letter of confirmation.
